Good morning! It's Sunday morning and I woke up bright and early at 5:00am. I guess I went to bed too early. I don't mind the quiet time in the morning!  My oldest daughter has started "the move" back home from college. She brought a carload of her belongings home this weekend. It has been nice to spend the weekend with her. She brings our home a whole lot of energy! Next weekend, my youngest daughter will be moving back in. I am looking forward to a nice summer with a full house! So that's the update on the "going-ons" around here.

Let's talk about my card. Isn't this Penny Black stamp just the cutest? It's perfect for this time of the year too. We are starting to get our yards and flower beds in order. Ah, I love Spring. The paper is from a 6x6 paper pack from Lilybeedesign called Double Dutch. I love this paper!

Bowl of Strawberries

Good Monday morning to you!  I hope you are having an easier time waking up than I am today!  I will get there though! Yesterday I pulled out my Unity stamps. I recently reorganized my stamp shop a bit and made it easier to get to these stamps. I think you will be seeing a lot more of them.

Summer will be here soon and strawberries will be waiting to be picked!  I used JillieBean Soup paper for the background and then some scraps for the scalloped border. I also pulled out my ticket punch from the back of the punch drawer. I have to remember to use this more often too. I have always loved the look!

Zinnias

Good morning! I am already enjoying a nice Sunday morning. I was browsing the interweb and looking at fabulous cards. I thought I should share as well. Today I am sharing a card that I made this weekend using the Flourishes stamp set called Zinnias.  What I really like about the stamp sets from Flourishes is the fine detail in the stamps. They also package up your orders really sweet.

The paper I used is new from Theresa Collins. I love blue and yello together. This is going to be my Mother's Day card this year. I hope my mom isn't peeking her on my blog!

Berry Sweet

Good morning!  I think Saturday mornings are the most wonderful thing in the world!  Who knows what fun the day will bring!

Today I'm sharing a thank you card that I made for a very good friend.  She is one of the sweetest people I know so I was very excited to use this My Favorite Things stamp set. I paired it up with paper from Echo Park (This and That).  I love the bold reds in this and I think they really make my girl pop with her strawberry dress.

It is raining today. I guess that means I can't finish washing windows! Oh darn it. The only thing I can think of is to stamp instead!  Ha ha ha!  Enjoy your Saturday. Take note of all the little things in life!

The Purple Onion Stamps

Good afternoon! Guess who has the day off?  Yahooo!  I am supposed to be spring cleaning the house, but I'm starting slow. I figure I have 4 days to clean!  I am doing little things here and there. I stamped some this morning too, using my new stamp from The Purple Onion. I had just enough money left from my birthday money to buy these.  And boy did they ship fast! 

I had so much fun playing with these stamps. They are just adorable, and I think they are very different from any other stamps I've seen.  I paied up this bunny and birdie with My Minds Eye paper. So sweet. I love using baker's twine on my cards now in case you haven't noticed!

What's Poppin'?

Good Monday morning to you. I was so very tired this morning before my coffee. Never fear though. I am starting to wake up now. We'll see how many mistakes I make on this blog post. Please bare with me!

I did a lot of organizing in my stamp shop this weekend. I didn't seem to have any mojo on Saturday after I finished cleaning up. Yesterday, however, I was doing much better. I made this card using a Pure Innocence image from My Favorite Things. I mixed and matched papers. I used Jillie Bean Soup and Theresa Collins paper. I was so excited because I was just finishing my card and I realize that I had some yellow ribbon that was just sent with an order. That was perfect timing!

Saturday Happenings

Good Saturday afternoon.  I started to post last Sunday morning and had trouble. I thought it was something on Typepad's end, but however there is something called "compatibility view" that I need to have on in order to post.  It must have gotten turned off some how. I am not a very technical person. I'm glad I just said out loud to my husband that I have been having trouble. He knew right away what it was. Thank goodness. I have to remember this for the next time something weird happens.

So enough of the blah blah blah. Last weekend I had so much fun playing with My Favorite Things (the Pure Innocence stamps) and my new 6 x6 Lilybeedesign (Buttercup) paper pad.  Oh my gosh, I love these colors so much. They are bright and springy.  THey worked perfectly for paper piercing my little girl with bubbles. 

I spent this morning organizing my stamp shop some. Now it is time to actually play in it. All of the hard stuff is out of the way for the day, and the rest of the day will only involve fun!  Enjoy your Saturday!

 

Dream

Good Saturday morning! I was up early and putzing in my stamp shop. I was looking forward to this weekend all week. I am doing (mostly nothing) but stamping! We've been busy, busy, busy and now it is time to play and relax!  I started stamping last night. All I will tell you is that I am playing with my Pure Innocence stamps (stay tuned). 

Today, I want to share a very simple card that I just love.  I used a Raisin Boat stamp set called Strokes of Wisdom. I may end up buying this set because I just love what you can do with the brushstrokes.  You could use any bold saying in front of the colorful background too.

I used all Memento Inks on this project. They are my ink of choice these days.  I am waiting for the new colors to become available in the stores!

Okay I'm heading back into my stamp shop for some more stamping fun!

Cherry Hill

So far so good this week with the blogging, right? Let's see if I can keep it up. I am already looking forward to some good stamping time this weekend. It will be the first weekend in awhile that we haven't been busy. I cannot wait!

Today's card is made using October Afternoon paper and rub-ons. Both are from the line called Cherry Hill. I love the colors. Oh and now that I look at the card closer, I did use some other October Afternoon paper from other lines. That is the thing I love about OA paper. It will mix and match together just fine. Oh and the rub-ons are the best on the market! They are easy to use! I may have to make some more cards this weekend with my rub-ons. I forget how fun that is!

Bear Spiral

Last week I was on Spring Break.  It was a very well-rounded week off. My youngest daughter was home also on Spring Break from college.  She had to work a couple of days in the lab, and I stamped a bit while she was gone.  I bought these notepads at Michaels and turned them into spirals like this using my Bind-it-All. The paper is actually kraft colored, and it is made out of recycled paper.   I was so happy with my final result. I bound all of the spirals one day and then decorated them the next. I actually have 4 left of a different pattern. I really enjoy making little gifts that I can give away to friends.

The paper I used is from Teresa Collins (the line is called Spring Fling). The stamps are from Darcies. The set is called Flowerpot Bear. 

Now I am all set for some birthdays to pop up!
